About

Dyslexia Association of the Pennyrile is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals with dyslexia and other learning disabilities.  Through our various programs, we have been assisting individuals and families for 50 years.  

The Association was organized in 1970.  The Association was first named The Christian County Association for Specific-Perceptual Motor Disabilities, and later changed its name to Dyslexia Association of the Pennyrile to encompass a larger region in which it was serving.
